Matthew's childhood sweet of choice has become my latest adult sugar
headache: Haribo Tagada. For those that don't know (I had never heard
of or tried them until recently), they are these little foamy, strawberry-like confections that sort of squish in your mouth in a bite or two before disintegrating altogether, leaving a pleasant, sour-sweet aftertaste that quickly fades and begs for more. And so, an entire bag later, I'm already craving another handful. Will my latest low-carb, low-sugar kick be defeated by these artificially flavored bright pink puffs of glucose? Probably.
