I'll also give you some tips on piping straight lines, which will come in handy if you're planning on making cookies that contain geometric shapes, such as this snowflake. I'm spending the evening with a bunch of flakes, actually. No, no -- not my usual group of friends! -- but a pile of snowflake cookies that need decorated both for the tree and as gifts to friends.
