Himali

Barcelona isn't the best in terms of tapas -- there are spectacularly good tapas bars in the city, don't get me wrong, but that prize goes to Madrid. What Barcelona does better than any other E.U. city is international fare. Indian, Thai, Korean, Mexican - you name it, Barcelona will have more than a passable version of it. We fell in love with Himali, a Nepales restaurant on a small side street in a relatively quiet part of town and ate there three nights in a row. Try the roast chicken in a tomato cream sauce (muglinco kukhura) and don't leave without a bowl of rice pudding.
